It’s June

I have been saying, “Hopefully in June we’ll be moving to Nicaragua!” for over a year.

And now it’s June.  I can’t believe it.  When I looked at the calendar this morning I got pretty emotional.  This has been an incredible year for us, and I can honestly say that we have been able to taste and see that the Lord is good.

He brought Mark home from a near death experience abroad last year.

When we were unsure of timing with quitting Mark’s job, he provided not only a layoff, but an opportunity for Mark to attend school at Portland Bible College to focus on preparation.

He’s turning our kids’ hearts to Nicaragua.

Even though it’s through a rough situation, he’s provided an honest out on our house in Virginia.

He has provided mentors for us to help us with the practical side of the moving process.

Every month we look over our finances and wonder how exactly we made ends meet, because on paper it doesn’t make sense.  God has truly been our source for everything in this season.

And, God has provided a match for all funds to get us down to Nicaragua through June 2nd.  We’re at $4400 right now, we’d love to see it jump up to an even $5000.

Thank you so much for your generosity.  We have been blown away, and are so thankful for each and every gift!
